vidro de base silicato do tipo sódio-cálcio separado em fase. a invenção se refere a um vidro que apresenta como componentes principais sio~2~, na~2~o e cao compreendendo duas fases amorfas de composições diferentes, uma das duas fases estando na forma de inclusões dispersas no volume da outra fase e compreendendo partículas cristalinas. tal vidro apresenta boa resistência mecânica, especificamente boa resistência á propagação dos arranhões e permite têmpera aperfeiçoada. esse vidro apresenta, adicionalmente, uma aparência estética agradável.
