Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A TRANSIçãO ENTRE CATALISADORES INCOMPATìVEIS QUE USA UM LEITO DE SEMENTES SUBSTANCIALMENTE ISENTO DE CONTAMINANTES". A presente invenção é um processo para a transição de uma primeira reação de polimerização para uma segunda reação de polimerização incompatível com o primeiro sistema de catalisador de polimerização, em um reator de fase gasosa. O novo processo compreende a condução de múltiplas reações de polimerização, a captura e a armazenagem de um produto de polimerização substancialmente isento de contaminantes de cada múltipla reação de polimerização para uso como um leito de sementes selecionado, substancialmente isento de contaminantes, em uma segunda polimerização, em que o produto de polimerização proveniente de cada múltipla reação de polimerização é tornado substancialmente isento de contaminantes por remoção ou descarga de reagentes e contaminantes e é mantido como substancialmente isento de contaminantes por armazenagem sob uma atmosfera inerte.
