Abstract

"DERIVADOS TRICìCLICOS INSETICIDAS". Foi agora descoberto que certos derivados tricíclicos proporcionaram inesperada atividade inseticida. Estes compostos são representados pela fórmula I: em que R¬ 1¬ a R¬ 8¬, inclusivamente, X e Y são completamente descritos. Composições contendo um montante inseticidamente eficaz de pelo menos um composto de fórmula I, e opcionalmente, um montante eficaz de pelo menos um de um segundo composto, com pelo menos um portador inseticidamente compatível são também divulgadas; bem como métodos de controlar insetos consistindo na aplicação das referidas composições ao local onde insetos estão presentes ou onde sua presença é esperada.
