Abstract

"CATALISADORES E PROCESSOS PARA PRODUZIR OLEFINAS". é descrito um processo para produzir copolímero de etileno. O etileno copolimeriza com uma <244>-olefina na presença de um sistema catalítico compreendendo um ativador e um complexo indenoindolila de metal em ponte, suportado em sílica tendo "arquitetura aberta". O complexo suportado incorpora comonómeros com excepcional eficiência, e o processo fornece copolímeros de etileno tendo elevados pesos moleculares (Mw > 100K) e densidades muito baixas (<0,910 g/CM^ 3^). Também são descritos catalisadores de arquitetura aberta que incluem formação de ponte através do nitrogênio da indolila da estrutura da indenoindolila. Adicionalmente, catalisadores indeno[1,2-b]indolila suportados e não suportados proporcionam atividades excepcionais na preparação de polipropileno e copolímeros de etileno elastoméricos.
