Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA FABRICAR UMA DISPERSãO COM BASE EM EPóXI AUTODEPOSITANTE, DISPERSãO DE EPóXI AUTODEPOSITANTE ESTáVEL, E, COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO AUTODEPOSITANTE". A invenção fornece os materiais de revestimento de autodeposição com base em epóxi com sólidos altos e um meio de obter os materiais de revestimento de autodeposição com base em epóxi com sólidos altos que eliminam/minimizam a necessidade para os solventes do processo. Um pré polimero de epóxi é usado. O pré polimero de epóxi é combinado com o monómero etilenicamente insaturado, como uma alternativa para o solvente orgânico, para produzir uma combinação de epóxi-monómero, que pode ser combinada com outro componente e aditivos de revestimento. A combinação resultante depois é dispersada em água com o tensoativo e o monómero etilenicamente insaturado é polimerizado (na presença de outros componentes de formulação) para produzir uma dispersão. A dispersão depois pode ser usada como um componente de uma formulação de revestimento. A formulação de revestimento depois pode ser aplicada aos materiais e curada para formar um revestimento final.
