Abstract

"APARELHO PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". A presente invenção se refere a um aparelho para controlar as movimentações de válvula em um motor de combustão interna que possui pelo menos uma válvula de admissão (12) e pelo menos uma válvula de exaustão para controlar a conexão entre a câmara de combustão no cilindro e um sistema de admissão e um sistema de exaustão, respectivamente. Um eixo de comando rotacionável que possui uma curva de excêntrico (de came) compreendendo uma rampa de elevação (10a) e uma rampa de inclinação (de caimento) (10b) está projetado para interagir com um mecanismo de válvula (14) para acionamento da válvula de admissão ou de exaustão (12) sobre a ação de uma mola de válvula (13). O mecanismo de válvula (14) compreende membros de controle (21-25, 26) que possibilitam que a movimentação de retorno do mecanismo de válvula (14) seja controlada durante a fase de fechamento da válvula de admissão (12) ou da válvula de exaustão, independentemente da rampa de inclinação (10b) da curva de excêntrico. Os membros de controle (21-25, 26) estão dispostos de maneira que o fechamento da válvula pode ser retardado por um período de tempo ajustável por intermédio de uma força ajustável hidraulicamente contrabalançando a força de fechamento da mola de válvula (13). O aparelho para controlar as movimentações de válvula em um motor de combustão interna, em concordância com a presente invenção, está caracterizado pelo fato de que o membro de controle (21-25, 26) está projetado para fazer conexão a partir do estado ativo para o estado inativo durante a movimentação de retorno da válvula (12) a partir de uma posição de abertura.
