Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE CRISTAIS DE CAROTENóIDES PARTINDO DE UMA RESINA OLEOSA DE UM VEGETAL QUE CONTêM CAROTENóIDE. Um processo para a produção de cristais de carotenóides partindo de uma resina oleosa de um vegetal que contém carotenóide cujo processo compreende (a) uma primeira etapa de introduzir a resina oleosa a um solvente orgânico, um álcool e uma base sob temperatura de refluxo do solvente orgânico para formar uma mistura da reação de saponificação; (b) manter a dita mistura da reação de saponificação durante um período de tempo suficiente para completar a reação de saponificação, desse modo produzindo um produto saponificado; (e) permitir que o produto saponificado resultante se separe em duas fases que compreendem uma fase orgânica e uma fase aquosa; (d) separar as duas fases e extraindo-se a fase aquosa; (e) destilar a dita fase orgânica para se obter os cristais de carotenóides.
