Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO PARA REVESTIR BILETES DE METAL POR IMERSãO EM BANHO QUENTE". A presente invenção se refere a um dispositivo para revestir biletes de metal (1), particularmente tiras de aço, por imersão em banho quente, sendo que o bilete de metal (1) deve poder ser conduzido verticalmente através de um recipiente (3) contendo o metal para revestimento (2) fundido, bem como através de um canal de guia (4) posicionado a montante, sendo que um indutor eletromagnético (5) posicionado na região do canal de guia (4) pode induzir correntes de indução no metal para revestimento (2), para reter o metal para revestimento (2) dentro do recipiente (3) por meio de um campo de bloqueio eletromagnético, sendo que as correntes de indução exercem uma força eletromagnética em ação recíproca com o campo de bloqueio eletromagnético. Para evitar que o bilete de metal seja aquecido fortemente pelo indutor eletromagnético, a presente invenção prevê que o indutor (5, 5a, 5b) esteja conectado com meios de fornecimento elétrico (6) que o alimentam com uma corrente alternada, cuja freq³ência (f) seja inferior a 500 Hz. Neste caso, em particular, foi cogitada a freq³ência de rede (50 Hz).
