Abstract
"ARAME DE AçO ALTO-CARBONO E ALTA RESISTêNCIA". Para se conseguir um arame trefilado com uma resistência à tração definida pela equação Y <154> Y~ <198>~, exp (A~ 2~ <sym>~ d~), em que Y é a resistência à tração em MPa (N/nm^ 2^) Y~ <198>~, é a resistência do arame patenteado, A~ 2~, é um coeficiente que depende da composição química e condições de trefilação do arame e <sym>~ d~ é uma deformação total verdadeira na trefilação, um arame de aço alto-carbono que contém 0,5 a 1,3% de carbono e uma combinação de cromo, manganês, silício, cobalto, nióbio e boro é processado, de maneira tal que o arame claro de um diâmetro intermediário tenha uma estrutura isenta de microtrincas, patenteado para produzir uma microestrutura desejada com espaçamento interlamelar e grão de austenita definidos, revestido com bronze e submetido à trefilação de acabamento com uma escala de saída na matriz otimizada a uma deformação verdadeira especificada.
