Abstract

"TELA ESTOCáSTICA ANISOTRóPICA". A invenção refere-se a um sistema e um método para a formação de meio-tom de imagens em escala de cinza pela utilização de uma comparação pixel por pixel da imagem contra uma tela estocástica anisotrópica são mostrados. A tela estocástica anisotrópica compreende uma função de ruído não-branco, não-determinística a qual, quando limitada, é projetada para produzir padrões de ponto anisotrópicos, que têm um espectro de potência caracterizado como tendo componentes de freq³ência baixa desprezíveis e uma região de freq³ência alta, a qual tem uma ausência de picos dominantes mais fortes.
