Abstract

"APARELHO PARA EXECUçãO DE SOLDAGEM TOPO A TOPO, MéTODO PARA EXECUçãO DE SOLDAGEM TOPO A TOPO, E PRODUTO APRESENTANDO SOLDA TOPO A TOPO". Revela-se um aparelho para execução de soldagem topo a topo, um método para execução de soldagem topo a topo, e um produto fabricado através do referido método para execução de soldagem topo a topo. Dois roletes de eletrodo (3, 4) estão dispostos tanto na face frontal quanto na face traseira de um membro de chapa espessa (1) e tanto na face frontal quanto na face traseira de um membro de chapa delgada (2) cujas superffcies de extremidade (lA, 2A) são justapostas. Os roletes de eletrodo (3, 4) são aplicados com energia, fundem a parte de junção (6) dos membros de chapa (1, 2) com calor gerado por meio de resistência elétrica, e unem as partes de junção. Além disso, os roletes de eletrodo (3, 4) apresentam uma extensão que vence o vão entre os membros de chapa (1, 2) e estão compostos por primeiras partes (3A, 4A) dispostas como partes de peclueno diâmetro na face do membro de chapa espessa (1) e segundas partes (3B, 4B) dispostas como parte de grande diâmetro na face do membro de chapa delgada (2). As primeiras partes (3A, 4A) estabelecem contato com o membro de chapa espessa (1) e o pressionam antes que as segundas partes (3B, 4B) estabeleçam contato com o membro de chapa delgada (2). Assim, a superfície de extremidade (lA) do membro de chapa espessa (1) se dilata e deforma na direção do membro de chapa delgada (2) e estabelece contato de maneira confiável com a superfície de extremidade (2A) do membro de chapa delgada (2). Como resultado disso, aplica-se energia entre as superfícies de extremidade (1A, 2A) mesmo se as superfícies de extremidade (1A, 2A) não houverem recebido acabamento por meio de polimento e similares.
