Abstract

"CIMENTO AUTO-POLIMERIZáVEL PARA PINO DENTáRIO E MéTODO DE SUA COLOCAçãO". Um método de cimentação de um pino dentário em uma cavidade preparada de um dente ou uma coroa ou ponte a um dente preparado, utilizando um cimento auto-polimerizável, sem mistura, com dois componentes, onde o primeiro componente é aplicado com um micro-aplicador para revestir as superfícies internas de um pino, coroa ou ponte e onde o segundo componente é, por conseguinte, colocado no pino revestido ou na superfície do dente que ira receber a coroa ou ponte e por meio do quais o pino, coroa ou ponte é então fixada no dente preparado. Após a colocação do pino, coroa ou ponte, os componentes começam a fixar firmemente o pino, coroa ou ponte no dente preparado. A formulação do cimento auto-polimerizável, sem mistura, com dois componentes para praticar o método, exige que os componentes em questão contenham uma resina de metacrilato. Um dos componentes também contém uma amina terciária aromática e o outro componente contém um peróxido orgânico. No mínimo um ou ambos os componentes podem também incluir metacrilato de hidroxietila ou metacrilato de hidroxipropila ou outros monómeros hidrofílicos. Outros aditivos, tais como espessantes, excipientes, sais de fluoreto e inibidores da polimerização podem também ser incluídos em um ou outro componente.
