Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA MEDIR ANISOTROPIA RESISTIVA DE UMA FORMAçãO GEOLóGICA, E, APARELHO". Uma ferramenta de registro é revelada para medir a anisotropia resistiva de formação ao redor de um furo de sondagem. A ferramenta de registro inclui um conjunto de eletrodos que contatam a parede do furo de sondagem. O conjunto de eletrodos inclui um primeiro par de eletrodos de corrente espaçados verticalmente, e um segundo par de eletrodos de corrente espaçados horizontalmente. Entre o primeiro e o segundo par de eletrodos de corrente, há dois ou mais eletrodos de medição que medem uma diferença de voltagem no eixo vertical e uma diferença de voltagem no eixo horizontal causadas pela corrente fluindo entre os pares de eletrodos de corrente. Uma anisotropia resistiva pode ser calculada das diferenças de voltagem medidas. Um terceiro par de eletrodos de corrente orientados perpendicularmente com respeito aos primeiro e segundo pares de eletrodos de corrente pode ser provido com correspondentes eletrodos de medição, caso seja desejado medir a anisotropia resistiva biaxial da formação.
