Abstract

"FERRAMENTA DE REGISTRO DE RESISTIVIDADE, E, FERRAMENTA DE REGISTRO DURANTE A PERFURAçãO QUE MEDE RESISTIVIDADE DE UMA FORMAçãO". Uma ferramenta de resistividade para uso em um sistema LWD, inclui um arranjo de transmissor com múltiplos transmissores (T~ 1~, T~ 2~, T~ 3~) posicionados acima de um par de receptores (R~ 1~, R~ 2~). Os transmissores (T~ 1~, T~ 2~, T~ 3~) são seletivamente energizados, fazendo com que seja induzida corrente no colar da ferramenta. A corrente axial no colar da ferramenta é medida pelo par de receptores (R~ 1~, R~ 2~) para determinar a quantidade da corrente que flui na formação entre os receptores (R~ 1~, R~ 2~). A partir disto, a resistividade da formação pode ser medida para cada transmissor, para prover múltiplas profundidades de investigação. Diversos eletrodos discretos (500) são posicionados entre os dois receptores (R~ 1~, R~ 2~) para permitir a imagem do furo de sondagem obtendo leituras de resistividade azimutalmente sensíveis, baseadas no nível de tensão em cada eletrodos discretos e na quantidade de corrente fluindo na formação.
