Abstract
"CONJUNTO CáRTER PARA EIXO DE ACIONAMENTO". Um conjunto de cárter para um eixo de acionamento inclui uma entrada de pinhão e coroa, que é operativamente acoplada a um conjunto de diferencial. O conjunto de diferencial inclui uma primeira e uma segunda metades de carcaça, que se afixam uma à outra em uma interface, para a definição de uma linha de divisão de carcaça, e um conjunto de engrenagem de diferencial suportado pelas primeira e segunda metades de carcaça, com o conjunto de engrenagem sendo operativamente acoplado para acionar um par de rodas lateralmente espaçadas. A coroa, a primeira metade de carcaça e a segunda metade de carcaça são todas conectadas em conjunto através de uma única junta aparafusada, com a linha de divisão de carcaça estando localizada atrás da coroa. O alojamento de diferencial é suportado em um par de mancais de rolamento inclinados, que têm uma configuração de vértice divergente, para redução da rotação da capa. O pinhão é unicamente suportado por um par de mancais de rolamento inclinados posicionados em lados opostos da coroa. Uma gaiola de pinhão em duas peças suporta ambos os mancais de pinhão e facilita a regulagem de uma pré-carga com o uso de calços externos.
