Abstract

"COMPOSTOS ELASTOMéRICOS REFORçADOS COM SìLICA". A invenção fornece um processo para preparar um elastómero halobutílico reforçado, que compreende misturar um elastómero halobutílico, uma carga mineral e um composto de silazano ou uma mistura de um composto de silazano e um aditivo que contém pelo menos um grupo hidroxila e pelo menos um substituinte que contém um grupo amina básica, e curar o elastómero reforçado com enxofre ou outros sistemas curativos. Esta invenção tem as vantagens de (a) não desprender álcool durante a produção ou subseq³ente uso do artigo fabricado a partir do composto, (b) melhorar a segurança Scorch dos compostos de elastómero halobutílico reforçado que empregam sílica como a carga mineral e um aditivo contendo hidroxila e amina como adjuvante de dispersão e (c) reduzir significativamente o custo do composto em comparação com compostos análogos atualmente conhecidos na literatura.
