Abstract

La invencion proporciona un proceso para preparar un elastomero de halobutilo relleno, que incluye mezclar un elastomero de halobutilo, relleno mineral y un compuesto de silazano o mezcla de un compuesto de silazano y un aditivo que contiene al menos un grupo hidroxilo y al menos un sustituyente que soporta un grupo amina basica, y curar el elastomero relleno con azufre u otros sistemas curativos. Esta invencion tiene las ventajas de (a) no desprender alcohol durante la fabricacion o uso posterior del articulo fabricado a partir del compuesto, (b) mejorar la seguridad de quemadura superficial de los compuestos de elastomero de halobutilo relleno que emplean silice como el relleno mineral y un aditivo conteniendo hidroxilo y amina como un adyuvante de dispersion y (c) reducir considerablemente el costo del compuesto en comparacion con compuestos analogos actualmente conocidos en la tecnica.
