Abstract

"CATALISADOR PARA SìNTESE DE AMÈNIA, PROCESSO PARA SUA PREPARAçãO, BEM COMO PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE AMÈNIA A PARTIR DE MISTURAS GASOSAS DE HIDROGêNIO E NITROGêNIO". A presente invenção refere-se a catalisadores para síntese de amónia baseados em rutênio diretamente apoiados em grafite tendo área superficial específica BET em excesso de 10 m^ 2^/g , de preferência em excesso de 100 m^ 2^/g e com mais preferência em excesso de 280 m^ 2^/g, o dito grafite sendo caracterizado por padrão de difração de raio X contendo as linhas de difração características do grafite cristalino apenas, com exclusão de faixas relevantes devido a carbono amorfo, aos quais catalisadores de bário, césio e potássio são adicionados como promotores. Os apoios de grafite permitem evitar os pré-tratamentos e pós-tratamentos conhecidos necessários no caso de apoios obtidos através de grafitação parcial de carbonos ativos e durante uso eles são afetados insignificantemente pela metanação mostrada pelos apoios obtidos de carbonos ativos. Ainda, os catalisadores da presente invenção são caracterizados por uma atividade muito alta, mesmo com carga de rutênio bem abaixo da carga conhecida.
