Abstract

"TUBO PARA FLUìDOS QUENTES". A presente invenção refere-se a um tubo de polímero para fluídos quentes, freq³entemente para água quente é descrito. O tubo é caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende um polietileno multimodal com uma fração de alto peso molecular (HMW) e uma fração de baixo peso molecular (LMW) onde a referida fração de HMW tem uma densidade de pelo menos 0,920 g/cm^ 3^ , e que o polietileno multimodal tem uma densidade de 0,9210,950 g/cm^ 3^ e tem um tempo de colapso, a 95<198>C e 3,6 MPa de pelo menos 165 horas, determinado de acordo com o DIN 16 833 e um módulo de elasticidade de no máximo 900 MPa determinado de acordo com ISO 527-2/ 1B. Preferivelmente, o polietileno multimodal é um polietileno bimodal, a fração de LMW tendo uma densidade de 0,955-0,975 g/cm^ 3^ , a fração de HMW tendo uma densidade de 0,920-0,940 g/cm^ 3^, e a relação de peso da fração de LMW para a fração de HMW sendo de 30:70 à 55:45.
