Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA FUNDIR POR CONTRA-GRAVIDADE UMA PLURALIDADE DE ARTIGOS". São descritos método e aparelho para fundir por contra-gravidade uma pluralidade de artigos, em que é provido um molde cerâmico (10) que tem um canal de alimentação vertical (12) e uma pluralidade de cavidades do molde (16) disposta ao longo de uma extensão do canal de alimentação (12) em diferentes níveis de elevação, cada cavidade do molde (16) em comunicação com o canal de alimentação (12) via um canal de distribuição (14), em que o metal em fusão é forçado a escoar para cima a partir de uma fonte para dentro do canal de alimentação (12) para abastecer as cavidades do molde (16) via seus canais de distribuição (14), em que o molde é girado de maneira tal que o metal em fusão que permanece nos canais de distribuição seja submetido a uma força centrífuga em uma direção voltada para as cavidades do molde (16), e em que o metal em fusão no canal de alimentação é drenado, de forma a esvaziar o canal de alimentação antes de o metal em fusão nas cavidades do molde (16) e nos canais de distribuição solidificar-se, deixando os canais de distribuição pelo menos parcialmente cheios com metal em fusão para abastecer as cavidades do molde (16) em resposta à contração.
