Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA PREDIçãO DE SINAL RECEBIDO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES SEM FIO". São descritos um método e um equipamento para computar os coeficientes de combinador para sistemas de comunicação sem fio para uma solução espaço - tempo. Uma modalidade treina -os pesos sobre um sinal conhecido a priori que é multiplexado temporalmente com outros sinais, tais como um sinal piloto em um sistema de alta taxa de dados (HDR) , em que o sinal é transmitido com potência total. é aplicada uma estratégia de minimizar o erro médio quadrático, MMSE, permitindo a combinação de pesos em uma base por trajetória. Os pesos são calculados como uma função de uma matriz de correlação de ruído e assinatura espacial por trajetória. A matriz de correlação de ruído é determinada a partir de uma matriz de auto-correlação do sinal recebido. Em uma modalidade, a estratégia MMSE é aplicada de modo a constituir um sinal piloto não temporalmente 'gateado' (gated).
