São apresentados co- ou terpolímeros aleatórios ou em bloco produzidos usando catalisadores de complexos metálicos em uma reação de um monómero de dieno conjugado com uma <244>-olefina aromática. Co- ou terpolímeros aleatórios ou em bloco produzidos usando metómeros com uma <244>-olefina aromática ou terpolímeros de um monómero de dieno conjugado com uma <244>-olefina aromática e uma <244>-olefina alifática usando complexos metálicos compreendendo metais dos grupos 3 a 10 do Sistema de Elementos em combinação com ativadores e opcionalmente um material de suporte. Mais particularmente, os complexos metálicos usados para a síntese de co- ou terpolímeros são metais lantanídios.
