Abstract

"PRODUçãO ELETROLìTICA DE ALUMìNIO DE ALTA PUREZA USANDO ANODOS INERTES DE CERâMICA". Trata-se de um método para a produção de alumínio com pureza comercial em uma célula de redução eletrolítica que compreende anodos inertes de cerâmica. O método produz alumínio tendo níveis aceitáveis de impureza de Fe, Cu e Ni. Os anodos inertes de cerâmica usados no processo podem compreender óxidos contendo Fe e Ni, assim como outros óxidos, metais e/ou dopantes.
