Abstract
"ESQUEMA DE TRANSMISSãO MULTIPLEXADO NO TEMPO PARA UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE ESPALHAMENTO ESPECTRAL". Um esquema de transmissão "multiplexado no tempo" capaz de reduzir a quantidade de interferência proveniente de outras células operada à mesma banda de freq³ência. Cada célula de um sistema transmite nos intervalos de tempo designados (por exemplo, time slots) durante o qual outras células interferentes podem ser impedidas de transmitir. Ao "apagar" ("blanking") temporariamente as transmissões provenientes das células interferentes durante os time slots designados, a quantidade de interferência a partir destas células é reduzida. A qualidade de sinal melhorada pode suportar transmissão a uma taxa de dados desejada ou mais alta, que pode não ser possível sem o apagamento de célula (cell blanking). Em uma variante, transmissões a partir das células são defasadas (staggered) em diferentes time slots. Um conjunto de uma ou mais células podem ser designadas para transmitir em cada um de um número de fases de slot. As células transmitem de uma maneira defasada nestas fases para reduzir a interferência. O esquema de transmissão pode ser usado para diversos tipos de canal (por exemplo, um canal de controle) e aplicações.
