Abstract

"SISTEMA CDMA-OFDM HìBRIDO DE ACESSO MúLTIPLO COM ESPALHAMENTO EM DOMìNIO DE FREQuêNCIA". Sob um aspecto de um sistema OFDM-CDMA de acesso múltiplo, o espalhamento de dados é feito no domínio de freq³ência pelo espalhamento de cada fluxo de dados com um respectivo código de espalhamento selecionado a partir de um conjunto de códigos de espalhamento disponíveis. Para suportar múltiplo acesso, recursos de sistema podem ser alocados e deslocados para usuários (como, por exemplo, códigos de espalhamento podem ser atribuídos a usuários conforme necessário, e potência de transmissão pode ser alocada para usuários) . Dados de taxa variável para cada usuário podem ser suportados por meio de uma combinação de ajuste de espalhamento e graduação de potência de transmissão. Técnicas de controle de interferência são também fornecidas para melhorar desempenho de sistema por meio de controle de potência das transmissões de downlink e/ou uplink para obter o desejado nível de desempenho enquanto minimiza interferência. Um piloto pode ser transmitido por cada unidade transmissora para ajudar as unidades receptoras a efetuar aquisição, sincronização de tempo, recuperação de portadora, handoff, estimativa de canal, demodulação coerente de dados e assim por diante.
