Abstract

"CEPA DE BACILLUS COAGULANS DE MICRO-ORGANISMOS TERMOFìLICOS SIM-T DSM 14043 PARA A PRODUçãO DE L(+)-LACTATO DE AçúCARES FERMENTáVEIS E DAS SUAS MISTURAS". A invenção refere-se a cepa de Bacillus coagulans de microorganismos termofílicos SIM-7 DSM 14043 para a produção de L(+)-lactato a partir de açúcares fermentáveis, incluindo dextrinas e amido. A temperatura de cultivo é de 53 - 65<198>C, considerada como sendo a faixa ótima. A concentração final de L(+)-lactato no meio de fermentação é de 12%, com o rendimento de 95%. O cultivo dessa cepa de microorganismos é possível sem a esterilização em alta temperatura do equipamento e dos meios. Usando-se farinha de cereal como a fonte de açúcares fermentáveis, as necessidades da cepa de microorganismos para sais minerais e de nitrogênio vão ser cobertas pelos compostos presentes nos cereais.
