Abstract
"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA PROVER MúLTIPLOS NìVEIS DE QUALIDADE DE SERVIçO EM UMA CONEXãO DE SERVIçOS DE DADOS EM PACOTES SEM FIO". Os pacotes gerados por cada uma das múltiplas aplicações de dados em pacotes são providos a uma única pilha de protocolo ponto a ponto (PPP) (202) e uma única camada de enquadramento de controle de link de dados de alto nível (HDLC) (204) para converter pacotes de dados em fluxos de byte apropriados para transmissão através de conexões de protocolo de link de rádio (RLP). Cada um dos múltiplos fluxos de byte resultantes são a seguir providos a uma das múltiplas conexões RLP possuindo diferentes propriedades de retransmissão e de retardo (206 e 208). A conexão RLP selecionada para enviar dados a partir de cada aplicação está baseada no grau de serviço mais apropriado para a aplicação. No receptor, os dados a partir das múltiplas conexões RLP (218 e 216) são providos para uma única pilha PPP (210).
