"CORPO DE VáLVULA REGULADORA TERMOPLáSTICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de preparação de um corpo de válvula reguladora compreendendo moldagem por injeção de uma composição termoplástica reforçada, na qual uma composição de tereftalato de polietileno contendo um agente de nucleação e 25 a 60% em massa de fibras de vidro é empregada como a composição termoplástica reforçada. Vantagens do corpo de válvula reguladora obtenível pelo processo de acordo com a invenção incluem excelentes estabilidade e tolerâncias dimensionais, significante redução de peso do corpo, e melhorada eficiência de combustível de um motor de combustão interna equipado com uma montagem de entrada de ar compreendendo um corpo de válvula reguladora de acordo com a invenção.
