Abstract

"CATALISADOR PARA POLIMERIZAçãO DE OLEFINA". Trata-se de um catalisador suportado para polimerização de olefina que compreende uma combinação de um suporte de óxido de metal sulfatado, um aluminoxano e um complexo organometálico de um metal do grupo 4. O óxido de metal sulfatado pode ser preparado de forma rápida e conveniente por exemplo, pelo contato do óxido de metal precursor com um ácido sulfúrico. O catalisador suportado da presente invenção é altamente ativo para polimerização de olefina em comparação com catalisadores convencionais que são preparados com suportes não sulfatados.
