"APARELHO E MéTODO DE DEMODULAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO QUE EMPREGA QAM 16-áRIO". é revelado um aparelho de demodulação QAM (Modulação de Amplitude de Quadratura) 16-ário. Uma primeira calculadora decide um valor suave <sym>(S~ k,2~) de um terceiro símbolo demodulado entre quatro símbolos demodulados ao subtrair uma distância 2a entre dois símbolos demodulados no mesmo eixo de uma tabela de mapeamento de um nível <124>Y~ k~<124> do componente de fase de quadratura Y~ k~. A segunda calculadora decide um valor suave <sym>(S~ k,3~) de um quarto símbolo demodulado ao calcular Y~ k~+<244><sym>Z~ k~ utilizando a primeira variável <244>. A terceira calculadora decide um valor suave <sym>(S~ k,0~) de um primeiro símbolo demodulado ao subtrair a distância 2a de um nível <124>X~ k~<124> do componente em fase X~ k~. A quarta calculadora decide um valor suave <sym>(S~ K,1~) de um segundo símbolo demodulado ao calcular X~k~+<225><sym>Z'~ k~ utilizando a segunda variável <225>.
