Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CONTROLAR O FLUXO DE AR EM UM SISTEMA VEICULAR HVAC". A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de controle de fluxo de ar com diversas portas e saídas para controlar o fluxo de ar em um sistema veicular HVAC. Em um aspecto, o aparelho (100) tem uma primeira câmara (106) controlada por uma primeira porta (126) e tem uma primeira saída (110) e uma primeira passagem (127). Uma segunda câmara (129) está acoplada da primeira passagem e é também controlada pela primeira porta. A segunda câmara tem uma segunda saída (130) e uma terceira saída (160) que são individualmente controladas pelas segunda e terceira portas (232, 242). De acordo com outro aspecto, é apresentado um método para controlar o fluxo de ar em um sistema veicular HVAC. O método compreende as etapas de receber (702) fluxo de ar dentro de uma primeira câmara; controlar o fluxo de ar para fora da primeira câmara com uma primeira porta; controlar (704) o fluxo de ar de uma segunda câmara para uma zona do motorista com uma segunda porta e controlar (706) o fluxo de ar da referida segunda câmara para uma zona de passageiro com uma terceira porta.
