"REMOçãO QUìMICA DE UM REVESTIMENTO DE óXIDO DE CROMO DE UM ARTIGO". Um revestimento de óxido de cromo (36) é removido de uma superfície do artigo (18) limpando-se o artigo (18) em uma solução de remoção de desengorduramento alcalino/remoção de ferrugem a cerca de 82,2<198>C (180<198>F) condicionando-se o artigo em escala (18) em uma solução de condicionamento de permanganato alcalino a uma temperatura de condicionamento de cerca de 71<198>C(160<198>F) e contatando o artigo (18) em uma solução de extração compreendendo ácido clorídrico e um inibidor de ataque por ácido a uma temperatura de extração de cerca de 54,4<198>C (130<198>F) a cerca de 60<198>C(140<198>F).
