Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA FRENAGEM DO MOTOR DE UM VEìCULO A MOTOR". A invenção refere-se a um dispositivo para frenagem de motor em veículos a motor compreendendo um motor a combustão interna com pelo menos um cilindro, pelo menos uma válvula de escape no dito cilindro e um balancim (4) para ativação da dita válvula de escape, balancim (4) este que é disposto em um eixo de balancim vazado (5) e disposto para ser ativado por ressaltos (2a, 2b, 2c) em um eixo de comando, dito dispositivo compreendendo adicionalmente uma válvula de controle (15, 16) para controlar a pressão de óleo no dito eixo de balancim (5), e meios (6; 14), sensíveis a um aumento da pressão de óleo no dito eixo de balancim (5) e integrados no dito balancim (4) para compensar uma folga entre o dito balancim (4) e a dita válvula de escape em caso de aumento de pressão de óleo, com pelo menos um dos ditos ressaltos (2b, 2c) então provocando a abertura da válvula de escape com um efeito de frenagem do motor. A invenção é caracterizada pelo fato da dita válvula de controle (15) compreender um corpo de válvula ajustável (18, 19) e um canal (23) entre o corpo de válvula (18, 19) e o eixo de balancim (5) que compreende um escape controlável (36), o corpo de válvula (18, 19) sendo disposto para ser posicionado em uma primeira posição com um efeito de redução de pressão e uma segunda posição sem efeito de redução de pressão. A invenção também refere-se a um método para tal frenagem de motor. Por meio da invenção é obtida uma frenagem de motor que é particularmente adequada para utilização em uma diminuição rápida da velocidade do motor quando da troca de marcha em uma caixa de câmbio associada com o motor.
