Abstract

"ELETRODO DE DIFUSãO DE GáS". A presente invenção se refere a um eletrodo de difusão de gás (1) compreendendo uma camada de difusão de gás hidrofóbica (3b), uma camada de reação (3a), uma camada de barreira (4), e uma camada hidrofílica (5), dispostas na mencionada ordem, em que a camada de reação (3a) está disposta para a camada de barreira (4), camada de barreira (4) que, sobre sua lateral oposta, está disposta para a camada hidrofílica (5). A presente invenção também se refere a um método para a manufaturação de um tal eletrodo de difusão de gás (1) compreendendo disposição de uma camada de difusão de gás hidrofóbica (3b), de uma camada de reação (3a), de uma camada de barreira (4), e de uma camada hidrofílica (5), na mencionada ordem; e adicionalmente diz respeito a uma célula eletrolítica compreendendo tal eletrodo de difusão de gás (1), e ainda à utilização da mesma para a produção de hidróxido de metal alcalino.
