Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO DE CATALISADOR DE EPOXIDAçãO, E, PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAçãO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE CATALISADOR DE EPOXIDAçãO HETEROGêNEO E DE UM óXIDO DE ALQUILENO". Composição de catalisador compreendendo titânio ligado quimicamente a um suporte de sílica, caracterizada pelo fato de que o suporte de sílica é um extrusado conformado de pó de sílica. A composição de catalisador é muito útil na epoxidação de olefinas a óxidos de alquileno usando hidroperóxidos orgânicos. A composição pode ser preparada por meio de um processo que compreende as etapas de: (a) extrusar pó de sílica como um extrusado que possui uma forma selecionada; (b) calcinar o extrusado; (c) impregnar o extrusado com um agente de impregnação contendo titânio; e (d) secar e calcinar o extrusado impregnado.
