Abstract

"ACOPLAMENTO DE ANEL DE ACIONAMENTO POR ENGRENAGENS". A invenção compreende um acoplador de anel de acionamento por engrenagens. O acoplador de anel de acionamento por engrenagens compreende dois pares de anéis de acionamento adjacentes (1, 2, 3, 4) rotativamente conectados uma cada extremidade de uma estrutura (5). Cada par de anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) é engatado junto com o par cooperante de anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) na extremidade oposta da estrutura (5) . A disposição espacial relativa do eixo de rotação de cada conjunto de anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) é mantida pela estrutura (5), que por sua vez prende os anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) em uma relação pre-determinada entre as roldanas de polia. Os anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) na polia acionadora giram na mesma direção que a polia acionadora através do contato friccional com os lados das roldanas da polia acionadora da CVT. Os anéis de acionamento no lado da polia acionada rodam na direção oposta aos anéis de acionamento na polia acionadora, desde que eles são engatados juntos. Os anéis de acionamento acionados (1, 2, 3, 4) estão então em contato friccional com os lados das roldanas da polia acionada, desse modo acionando a polia acionada. O diâmetro efetivo ou raio de cada polia é ajustado pelo movimento das roldanas da polia. O movimento das roldanas da polia faz o eixo de rotação de cada conjunto de anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) se mover excentricamente com relação ao eixo de rotação de sua polia respectiva. Desde que os anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) são mecanicamente conectados, os anéis de acionamento (1, 2, 3, 4) se movem com a estrutura (5) como uma unidade em resposta ao movimento das roldanas da polia, desse modo mudando a relação de engrenagem efetiva da transmissão.
