Abstract

"CATALISADOR PARA A HIDROGENAçãO DE HIDROCARBONETOS INSATURADOS". A invenção descreve um catalisador para a hidrogenação de hidrocarbonetos insaturados, que contém quantidades cataliticamente eficazes de Pd e, opcionalmente, Ag, sobre um veículo; o catalisador está caracterizado pelo fato de que o veículo representa um corpo moldado com seção transversal com 3 lóbulos, sendo que os lóbulos estão dotados de aberturas contínuas. O catalisador pode ser produzido de acordo com um processo, no qual o veículo é impregnado com uma solução dos sais de Pd e, opcionalmente, AG, esses sais são reduzidos com ajuda de um agente de redução, após o que o veículo impregnado desse modo, é lavado, secado e calcinado, se a redução não for completa, os óxidos do Pd e Ag, ainda existentes, são reduzidos por aquecimento em uma atmosfera contendo hidrogênio, para os metais correspondentes.
