"PROCESSO PARA PURIFICAçãO DE áCIDO NAFTALêNICO CARBOXìLICO". Um processo para purificar um ácido naftalênico carboxílico compreendendo contactar a uma temperatura abaixo de cerca de 301,67<198>C uma mistura compreendendo um ácido naftalênico carboxílico impuro e um solvente na presença de gás hidrogênio com um metal nobre sobre catalisador de carbono. O processo resulta em quantidades reduzidas de impurezas orgânicas no ácido purificado quando comparado com outros processos de purificação.
