Abstract
Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE PEçAS ESTRUTURAIS TUBULARES FABRICADAS A PARTIR DE MATERIAIS PGM E TENDO SALIêNCIAS ONDULADAS CIRCUNFERENCIAIS". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de peças estruturais tubulares fabricadas a partir de materiais PGM e tendo saliências onduladas circunferenciais por meio da formação a partir de peças de tubo com parede lisa, que é caracterizado pelo fato de que uma peça de tubo de parede lisa (1) é inserida em uma matriz de conformação cilíndrica (2) com um diâmetro interno que corresponde substancialmente ao diâmetro externo da peça de tubo e que tem recessos radiais (3), sendo que essa matriz é proporcionada em ambas as extremidades axiais com uma ferramenta de prensa (4, 5) que veda fortemente as extremidades do tubo, sendo que o espaço que é assim formado é preenchido completamente com um fluido hidráulico (6) e então, uma pressão interna hidráulica é produzida exercendo-se uma compressão axial via as ferramentas de prensa (4, 5) de tal modo que sob encurtamento simultâneo da peça de tubo, saliências (7) são formadas na parede deste último, que correspondem aos recessos (3) da matriz de conformação (2).
