Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE UM PAINEL TERMOFORMADO EM PLáSTICO, E PAINEL OBTIDO PELO MéTODO". Referente a um método para a produção de um painel compreendendo ao menos uma camada de material plástico termoformável tendo regiões separadas de diferentes espessuras, compreendendo as etapas de: - extrudar uma folha de material plástico com a adição de um agente de expansão a esse dito material, dita extrusão sendo conduzida em condições tais que evitem expansão do material ou causem somente sua expansão parcial; - aquecer a folha assim obtida a uma temperatura tal que cause pós-expansão do material; e - termoformar a folha em uma cavidade para termoformação de formato complementar ao do painel desejado de forma que o painel termoformado produzido tenha nas regiões de maior espessura uma estrutura celular expandida onde o material tem uma densidade menor que a densidade do material das regiões de menor espessura.
