Guarnição vedante de materialpolímero, especialmente para compartimentos de embutir compequenas dimensões, sendo que a guarnição vedante apresentaum segmento de retenção e um segmento vedante, o segmento deretenção está unido com um corpo de apoio e o segmento vedanteencerra de modo vedante do lado periférico um eixo a ser vedadoou um anel de curso sob protensão radial e apresenta no ladovoltado para o eixo um perfilamento de superfície pararetro-transporte de lubrificante, caracterizada pelo fato de que odiâmetro de ligação (diâmetro interno (D)) do engaste importa em1,0 a 1,05 vezes o diâmetro de eixo (W) mais 4 vezes a espessurade guarnição (d).
