Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE (TODO-RAC.)-ALFA-TOCOFEROL". Um processo para a fabricação de (todo-rac.)-<244>-tocoferol pela condensação catalisada com ácido de trimetilhidroquinona com isofitol ou fitol é caracterizado realizando a condensação na presença de um tris(perfluoroalcanossulfonil ou pentafluorobenzenossulfonil)metano ou um sal de metal disso como o catalisador em um solvente inorgânico. Além de dito sal de metal um ácido de Bronsted, por exemplo ácido sulfúrico, ácido fosfórico ou ácido p-toluenossulfónico, pode ser usado com um co-catalisador. O produto do processo é o membro mais ativo do grupo de vitamina E.
