Abstract
"GERADOR SìNCRONO, E, INSTALAçãO DE ENERGIA EóLICA". Máquinas elétricas que giram lentamente, por exemplo geradores de anel, como são usadas nas instalações de energia eólica da empresa Enercon, dos tipos 33, E-40, E-12 e E-66, requerem potência de excitação muito alta. A potência de excitação necessária se eleva, neste caso, com o número dos pólos, com crescente entreferro e com o nível da potência reativa. O objetivo da presente invenção consiste em melhorar o grau de eficiência de geradores acionados diretamente, do tipo inicialmente descrito, e evitar as desvantagens anteriormente descritas. Este objetivo é alcançado com um gerador síncrono que gira lentamente (gerador de anel) para uma instalação de energia eólica, em que o gerador consiste de um induzido (membro de rotor) e de um estator que envolve o induzido e o estator apresenta pelo menos um enrolamento de corrente trifásica, no qual é impressa uma corrente capacitiva e/ou que uma parte da potência de excitação do gerador é produzida pelo estator.
