Abstract
"MáQUINA ROTATIVA". Uma máquina rotativa (10) compreende: uma carcaça interna (12) possuindo meio de valvulação (14) que inclui um eixo (15) para direcionar o fluido de trabalho através da máquina (10) e, uma carcaça externa (16) dentro da qual reside a carcaça interna. Uma câmara de trabalho (18) é definida entre as carcaças interna e externa (12, 16). Uma pluralidade de portas (20) são suportadas pela carcaça interna e são osciláveis ao longo de seus respectivos eixos longitudinais entre uma posição de vedação, na qual as portas formam uma vedação contra a superfície (22) de carcaça externa (16) e uma posição retraída na qual as portas (20) se apóiam substancialmente contra a superfície (24) da carcaça (12).
