Abstract

"ANEL E SISTEMA DE VEDAçãO". A invenção se refere a um anel de vedação feito de material deformável com uma superfície de vedação interna que é orientada radialmente para dentro, e com uma superfície de vedação externa que é orientada radialmente para fora, caracterizado por compreender pelo menos uma superfície de pressão que, como parede de uma cavidade no anel de vedação, se contrapõe substancialmente radialmente a pelo menos uma das superfícies de vedação, de modo que um fluido sob pressão que é aplicado contra a superfície de pressão na cavidade pressiona para fora a pelo menos urna superfície de vedação; bem como a um sistema de vedação com um primeiro componente com um furo, um segundo componente que é disposto no furo, e o anel de vedação para a vedação da folga entre o primeiro e o segundo componente contra um fluido que está pelo menos temporariamente sob pressão.
