Abstract

Máquina o aparato giratorio 10 que comprende una carcasa interna 12 provista de válvulas 14, que incluye un eje 15 destinado a dirigir un flujo de trabajoa través de la máquina 10 y una carcasa externa 16 dentro de la cual se aloja la carcasa interna . Se ha definido una cámara de trabajo 18 entre las carcasasinterna y externa 12 y 16. Una serie de compuertas 20 son soportadas por la carcasa interna, siendo capaces de oscilar a lo largo de sus respectivos ejeslongitudinales entre una posicion de sellado, en la que las compuertas forman un sello contra la superficie 22 de la carcasa externa 16 y una posicion retraídaen que las compuertas 20 descansan sustancialmente contra la superficie 24 de la carcasa 12.
