Abstract

"USO DE UMA SEQUêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO, ORGANISMOS TRANSGêNICOS, óLEOS, PROTEìNA OU UM SEU FRAGMENTO FUNCIONAL (ENZIMATICAMENTE ATIVO), USO DE UMA PROTEìNA, E, COMPOSTO". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de uma nova enzima e de seu gene codificador para transformação. Mais especificamente, a invenção refere-se à utilização de um gene codificador de uma enzima com atividade de acil-CoA: diacil-glicerol-acil-transferase. Este gene expressado sozinho em organismos transgênicos aumentará a quantidade total de óleo, isto é de triacil-gliceróis, que é produzida.
