Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "DISPOSITIVO PARA REDUçãO DIRETA DE óXIDOS DE FERRO". Dispositivo para a redução direta de óxidos de ferro do tipo com carga gravitacional, compreendendo um reator que define, em sua parte superior, pelo menos uma zona dentro da qual ocorre a reação de redução, meios (14,15) para introduzir a carga através de uma boca (12) do reator, meios (18,17,19) para introduzir uma corrente de gás em pelo menos uma seção do reator em correspondência com a zona de redução, meios de saída (13) do material reduzido do fundo do reator, e meios (20) para descarregar os gases de exaustão, o mencionado reator (10) incluindo pelo menos uma primeira zona superior (10a) de aquecimento, pré-redução e redução final, com uma conicidade divergindo na direção para baixo, e uma segunda zona inferior (10b) de carburização e resfriamento com uma conicidade convergindo no sentido para baixo.
