Patente de Invenção: "DISPOSITIVO PARA ENVOLVIMENTO DE UM SUBSTRATO ALONGADO". Um dispositivo (1) para envolvimento de um substrato alongado (20), tal como uma junta de cabo, compreende um membro de parede (2) e um material de vedação (4), aplicado ao membro de parede (2). A fim de evitar que o membro de parede seja danificado por uma substrato pontiagudo, um membro espaçador (3) é disposto no ou sobre o material de vedação (4), de forma a espaçar reciprocamente o substrato (20) e o membro de parede (2), quando o dispositivo é aplicado. De preferência, o membro espaçador (3) constitui-se de uma malha contínua e é fabricado de um material não-condutivo, resistente ao calor.
