Abstract

"MULTIPLICADOR COMPLEXO". Um multiplicador complexo, 51, 500, 600 para utilização em um receptor de rádio 20, 30, 5O, 60 para receber um sinal de portadora modulado por um sinal desejado, o sinal de portadora modulado ocupando um de uma pluralidade de canais cujas freq³ências centrais são separadas uma da outra por uma freq³ência fixa referida como o espaçamento de canal, o aparelho incluindo um oscilador local 28 para gerar primeiro e segundo sinais a uma freq³ência que não é um múltiplo integral de metade do espaçamento do canal, em que quando o sinal de portadora recebido é misturado com os primeiro e segundo sinais, um sinal de Freq³ência Intermediária Muito Baixa ( VLIF ) é gerado em que o sinal desejado está centrado ao redor de um VLIF que é ligeiramente maior do que metade do espaçamento do canal.
